Domestic Violence Ad Campaigns

December 11, 2014 | Domestic Violence

Ad campaigns against domestic abuse vary widely in style but all seek to raise awareness and make an impact. If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence, you have to do something about it! No one can help you if you don’t help yourself. Please share these videos with others to help raise awareness of a major problem that often gets overlooked in our society.

Occasionally celebrities lend a hand to help raise awareness for domestic violence. Here is a 2009 ad from Keira Knightly.

And it’s not just in the US either, here is a domestic violence awareness ad from Australia.

Domestic violence awareness campaigns are run on different media as well. This video shows a genius campaign and concept where children will see a different image and message because of their lower viewing angle.

And this one titled “One photo a day in the worst year of my life” is a Croatian ad campaign against domestic violence. The note at the end says “Help me, I don’t know if I’ll make it ’till tomorrow.”
