Domestic violence is any form of violence by an intimate partner or by family members, regardless of where it takes place. Physical abuse, psychological abuse, or behavior that is aimed at intimidating and persecuting an individual can be considered domestic violence when it occurs in a family setting. These books tell the stories of and are meant to guide survivors, advocates, students and researchers in their endeavors to learn more about domestic violence.
